Conservation Agriculture as a Sustainable Agricultural Alternative

Abstract

The central Andean region of Colombia shows an increasing degradation of natural resources due to conventional agriculture, which is why the reconversion to sustainable agroecosystems such as Conservation Agriculture is fundamental. This paper confirms the existence of a series of favorable opportunities for the expansion of conservation agriculture, which, with a proper innovation management process, great political support and both an institutional and professional articulation, will allow a prompt multiplication of the aforementioned innovation on a medium term
