Abstract

The need to create high quality and productivity research groups at La Salle University, aiming towards a satisfactory classification with Colciencias, the optimization of human resources and visibility in the region’s scientific community leads to restructuring the Creativity and Innovation for Sustainable Rural Development research group. After nearly a decade of work by the research group, it is necessary to review past actions, information about which can be found at the webpage of GRUPLAC, Colciencias, as well as in the creation of the research group and its corresponding production and guidance for the future. The purpose of this exercise is to present a proposal to modify the structure and modus operandi of the research group, looking to enrich the information for the GRUPLAC, which is an important commitment for its recategorization before Colciencias and our Research Vice-Rectory
