Natural law and social virt ous pr actice in Saint Thomas Aquinas

Abstract

In this paper, which is framed in an anthropological account of the ethical-social virtues, we intend to show the development of St. Thomas Aquinas’ thinking around the concept of object of an action. This concept gives to the action its moral qualities, to be a virtue or a defect, and the existent relationship between the objective meaning of human social work and the natural law.
