The conquest of the numbers. A approximation to Frege’s philosophy

Abstract

The present article is framed on Bartolomé de Las Casas Research Project: Recepción de la Filosofía Analítica en Colombia y Latinoamérica. First of all, it is an approach to Frege´s Philosophy, its main problems and topics. In this sense is a pro-pedeutic work for further research projects. This overview wants to establish the Frege´s logicism as a milestone in the development of philosophy, through the analysis of logicism and the main ontological notions developed by Frege. Finally, a critical assessment on Frege´s fundamental notions completed the work.
