Abstract

In the interest of approaching the socio-technical aspects of the proceedings resulting from the Victims Law of 2011, some of the experiences of two types of stakeholders are described: claimants of rights violated as a result of the armed confict in Colombia, and government offcials in charge of administrative procedures for receiving and recording statements. Using three parts of a feld diary as reference, different situations are presented that polemicize the recognition procedures in the Single Victims Registry (RUV) and a number of circulations of the Single Declaration Form (FUD) are discussed. Finally, some preliminary thoughts are raised about the role of experts, the design of the FUD, the evaluation criteria and the political framework of this assembly as possible lines of investigation from social studies of science and technology and other interdisciplinary approaches.
