File Systems for Support in Service Management

Abstract

The paper analyzes and assesses the different systems governing file management, considered as strategic components for the effectiveness of information services. The investigation uses a documentary-descriptive methodology, based on the analysis of information sources and field experiences that help to strengthen the relationship between management systems-information services. Results show the different systems, regulations, developments in information and communication technologies that are hardly taken into consideration when meeting the information demands of users in the information services of files from public and private organizations. It is concluded that, in the context of a global society, governed by the immediacy and timeliness of response, the implementation of processes and assertiveness in the selection of management systems are part of the challenges to achieve. The regulation and operation of document systems that guarantee not only procedural and technological systematization, but the projection of certification of the quality of services in organizations, is recommended
