Mills in Architecture: Tangible and Intangible Cultural Heritage. Case Study in Argentina

Abstract

The case study wants to show the importance of cultural assets (BIC) for an area, taking the tangible and intangible values into consideration. The purpose is to assign its due value, based on its characteristics; importance throughout history; economic, social and environmental impact; and urban, architectural determinants, to the department of San Juan, which is located in a desert region with very interesting landscape, environmental and cultural features that cause this province to stand out in the context of heritage.
