Abstract
This article is based on the results of a research on cultural processes developed in the Toribio Maya Educational Centre of Popayán (Cauca). The experience is presented on two axes: analysis of the experience and presentation of the contributions of the methodology implemented in accordance with the construction of learning spaces for citizenship, recovery of memory, and construction of social fabric, through socio-cultural practices, combining social projection and culture, a view from the perspective of the profession of social work.
