Spinoza y el pensamiento ecológico

Abstract

We intend to show how Spinoza’s ethical thought is particularly iseful for thinking about ecological ethics based on the fact that Spinoza’s ethics are not anthropocentric, unlike most traditional ethics in philosophy. Instead of asking “what are my duties towards other humans?” Spinoza’s ethics asks “how should I interact with my environment so as to increase my happines?” Spinozas metaphyisics also provides an inspiration for ecological thinking.
