Towards a Comprehensive Concept of Quality of Life as the Basis for Development in the 21st Century

Abstract

The approach to the concept of quality of life is fueled by some theoretical traditions that have started to position themselves in certain academic circles as a source from which other perspectives that attempt to integrate multiple elements are fed and recreated, not only to understand this concept, but also to promote processes of formation, critical awareness and social co-responsibility in a context that becomes increasingly complex and contradictory regarding the way human beings are meant to live and coexist, beyond those citizens with rights and duties.
