Abstract

This paper shows the quantitative and descriptive results of implementing the EDAOM tests regarding the characteristics of the study habits of sixty students from the eighth semester group at the School of Library Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Distribution between the urgent attention, reinforcement and satisfactory categories showed a certain balance in percentage of representativeness, which is surprising in seniors, as they would be expected to master them. However, a high interest and a serious responsibility in their learning process were observed, which allows their strengths to keep the urgent attention subscales at a lower percentage. This results in a new interest for establishing lines of attention and research on the subject, after proving the complexity involving study habits and the need for a multidisciplinary work in order to successfully meet the needs identified
