Diversity of Mutable Realities: Urban Border in Natural Boundries of Social Cohesion and Environmental Protection

Abstract

As a result of the research Project entitled Urban Borders: from the concept to the context, a hypothesis is established about forming an urban border in the city over the hills of Suba, which have been cornubated and ecologically affected by the urban growth of Bogotá, which outgrew its natural limits, expanding its urban area over the territory, and consequently has fragmented and has limited the natural processes and relationships established in that place because of their natural elements. The project Diversity of mutable realities: urban border in natural boundaries, social cohesion scenarios and environmental protection looks to establish over the hills of Suba a system of relationships between the urban and natural components of the city, understood from the perspective of the subject as urban issues concerning the individual’s life in that space. The space aims to create a sensory experience for the subject with its unique environment of experiential time, from places of contemplative landscapes where lasting thoughts recur about the place and furthermore it becomes a scenario of natural continuity in the city.
