Recalling, looking ahead: the language of standardization and documentary contexts

Abstract

At the time of the transition from analog to digital environment, it should look to the future while finding connections with the past in order to refine our identity firmly address the archival profession and without hesitation to play our role in an accelerated and technological society. From here, the focus is primarily on the basis of their archival language evolution, and updating the necessary compatibility. Secondly, the discussion focuses on standardization, which is cornering the discretion of many methods, with emphasis on international standards of description which are leading to a broader, less rigid, more attention and easier for users. Thirdly, the dedication of this book is for contexts documentary with special interest recognized by the InterPARES project
