Ecotone territorial cohesion as urban spaces from complexity

Abstract

This publication presents an intervention program in urban transitional spaces between formal and informal settlements, taking into account the following question: What might be some guidelines for the sustainable development of certain transition space for formal and informal human settlements in some districts of Bogotá, Colombia? The question was formulated taking into account the approach of some planners, within the dynamics of development and growth of Colombian cities in Latin or in the process of development. Those who raise the problem of fragmentation of the production of urban areas. Even isolation of its interventions, voluntarily or involuntarily in relation to the context, to the point to discrimination and cultural contradictions, not only among culturally and socio-economic population marked by their differences, but also between populations of the same social stratification cultural, generating dissatisfaction and discontent, as the human, ecological, political and economic, is disjointed from the physical proposal. Calling for new proposals that contribute to uniting the territories segregated.
