After the War: The Individual, the Group, and the Relationship of Trust

Abstract

The article reflects on the process that young former combatants face after leaving the war, from two different aspects: the tension between individual and group psychological functioning while they are in the “Home Tutor” program, and the importance of the relationship of trust with psychotherapy as an option to the subjective breakdown occurred after the war. The relationship of trust reactivates the relational capacity which was put at risk during the war.
