Logos

Abstract

This essay attempts to show the way García Lorca’s whole paper trespass the barrier of purely estheticism to step to the fore as an emblem of social problems which aggrieved Spain in those days, so to say, the social theme taken up to the esthetic plane in a singular manner, thus the Grenadian poetry succeeded in transcending death, a recurrent theme appearing in his whole paper, forging a style and model of life which would turn into paradigm within the Hispano-American literary scenario.
