Abstract
As it is the duty of those investigating and implementing university social responsibility actions to know and assess the position of stakeholders involved, this paper, which is the result of an investigation, gathers the perception of students participating in social entrepreneurship activities developed by the research group Gestión, Administración y Organizaciones, attached to the School of Administrative and Accounting Sciences at La Salle University. For that purpose, the paper defines the concepts of university social responsibility and social entrepreneurship; describes how they have been appropriated by the university, the faculty and the research group; and shows some of the social entrepreneurship projects have been achieved. Finally, thanks to the semantic analysis method, the reactions to social responsibility and social entrepreneurship in a sample of 43 students from both the School of Administrative and Accounting Sciences, Bogotá campus, and the Agricultural Engineering program, Yopal campus, are presented; and it is argued why it is essential to ensure that university social responsibility acquires importance in the context of higher education, so that students will become agents of social change.
