Teacher-student Relationship as an Agency Relation in the Evaluation Process

Abstract

<p>This relationship is highly complex and implies an active interaction form harmonic to conflictive that analyzed from the Theory of Agency evidences contract networks, rational and emotive behaviors, information asymmetries, management costs, where there are two main characters of the educative act, the principal (student or parents or guardians) with an apprentice role and the agent (teacher) with an educator role, both of them interact around an intangible as the educative service is with a social essence, being a knowledge carrier, transmitter and generator, with crucial moments in such process as evaluation step with different types, analyzed from three different perspectives (students, teachers and institution) mediated by the corresponding educative institution and regulatory and managing entities on behalf of society.</p>
