Abstract

<p>The Information Science profession must consider that the filing process, from production to conservation, changes with the introduction and use of new technologies, like Electronic Records Management Programs (ERMP). The adoption of these technologies requires a series of conditions and special characteristics of the document. In order to be an integral part of this filing process these conditions and the characteristics must be defined</p>
