Abstract
Studies about life and social contexts for boys and girls are known for recognizing the families’ perceptions from variables such as the environment (care), family (structure and conditions) and socio-economic conditions. The purpose is to study the life standards of family groups in the San Isidro Patios locality in Chapinero, Zone Planning Unit 89, according to the analytical, empirical analysis of the information gathered from four kindergartens in this locality, using data recorded in the Sirbe file that was filled in 2010. During the research, it was found that the environment and life standards of the populations under study, who are characterized by a low income and social vulnerability, depend on the infrastructure and public policy programs in the territory, as well as the capacity to improve those opportunities.
