Organization, Structure and Human Capital in SMEs from the Manufacturing Sector: Analysis from Case Studies

Abstract

Knowledge plays an important role in modern models of endogenous growth. This paper, which is the result of the research “Dynamics and relationships between entrepreneurship, human capital and productive systems in SMEs in Bogotá”, carried out in eighteen companies registered at the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá as of 2008, shows that the relationship structure-entrepreneurship-human capital within the enterprise productive dynamics is a fundamental idea in the improvement of proposals for industrial development of SMEs
