Modelo de integración del cuadro de mando integral y el costo de capital como nueva herramienta financiera

Abstract

The enterprise management is increasingly more complex because it is based on a knowledge suite so demands a higher information level. For that, we must give the highest relevance and take it as something useful because it is the core for a suitable decision-making linked to the strategic planning, control, and a suitable capital use. It is necessary Colombian businesses take care –regardless their size- by implementing a collection of theories, knowledge and practices, which allow them to be efficient and competitive, and achieve the development expected by their promoters. Although it is very hard to accept the reality, mostly medium and small businesses are –regardless the sector they belong to– managed empirically, i.e. based on managers’ experiences rather than a knowledge application as modern management demands. This paper tries to provide basics that can strength the management of palm farming businesses and any other organization that consider relevant to search successful profits by integrating indebtedness, financing and investment indicators to the Balanced Scorecard.
