Abstract

The Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) link system for the SENA’s CNC Lab, is a communication system that with a client-server structure allows the Flexible Manufactured Cell (FMC) components to have a physical integration with a TCP/IP network, interchanging information through a computer. The purpose of this article id to present the physical integration of components of a FMC and to show its flexibility in different aspects: the use of other protocols, the possibility of expansion and creation of other FMC from manufacture system machines in medium size and small industry
