A review about feasible solutions for best probabilistic evaluation of har monics in electric power systems
Épsilon

Abstract

Deterministic approach to carry out a probabilistic evaluation of levels of distortion of currents and harmonic voltages in the power systems has some problems associated, principally, with a first approach to reality, emphasis in magnitudes and empirical determination of various parameters. For these reasons in recent years a great number of works and investigations deal with probabilistic aspects of harmonics and stochastic evaluations of them. These evaluations must comply with three necessary conditions: Evaluations must comply with central limit theorem (a great number of users), stationary and independence in data of different users. These paper present a detailed review about probabilistic aspects of electric harmonics and conclusions and recommendations for best results
