Design of Laser Interferometer for Longitudinal Measurements

Abstract

The present article describes the development of a project oriented towards physics, optics and electronics, and the implementation of an instrument to measure distance and speed. Its operation is based on a lateral movement interferometer with a two-sign optical configuration based on power supply. The measurements performed with the instrument show that distances can be measured in a 100 millimeter range according to its calibration and the implementation of the beam expander. In addition, the reader is presented with an instrument oriented to the application of alternative technologies that are not tied to modern productive processes such as robotic applications, a progress that is necessary to achieve greater technification and a sustainable development that allows the improvement of production conditions
