Abstract
The concern about urban phenomena is the result of an important transformation in the subject of study in architecture. This paper analyzes the qualities contained in the everyday forms and in the appropriation of urban space. This emphasis can be seen as closer to the field of sociologist and anthropologist research; nonetheless, the understanding of the qualities of these phenomena is crucial in the appreciation of the urban architectonic form. Likewise, our ability to recognize its nature of behavior will allow us to have a close understanding of projects in urban spaces and therefore design and built a more ecological and social based habitat.
