Mediations in the implementation of sectorial social policies. Lessons learned from the systematization of four experiences

Abstract

In this article I share lessons learned from the systematization of 4 experiences of support to the implementation of sectorial social policies (health, education, childhood and family) in Colombia, developed between 1997 and the 2007. I demonstrate mediations to be extended in the professional intervention of Social Work, when accompanying processes by social participation. Itcontributes to rethink the professional intervention in social contexts, to understand conditioners and challenges in the benefit of social services from the State. Integral the retrospective and prospectiva vision of more than 13 years, on mediations in the professional intervention of Social Work. The sources of the systematizations were: registries: partisans (information of each activity, meetings of work - contactación, planning, coordination, negotiation; sessions of support, visits, interchanges, narratives, participation of social, daily actors of field, notes of work). Product registries (educative plans, sessions, materials, diagnoses of participation, information of investigation). Documents related to different instances (individual of each member of the equipment, group in the coordination of the work, interinstitutional on the interestamentales negotiations), as well as in readings on the contexts and the thematic ones. They are open registries more than standardized, academic character more than formalista or tecnocrático technician, that they made possible to reconstruct, to analyze the experiences, to construct materials and to consolidate information.I enrich the reflection with developments of the line of investigation in construction to discipline in Social work of the University of the Salle and the debate of 4 forums of the group Systematization of experiences of the ReLAC (2010).
