Effects of the Family Dynamics and Social Relations in the Upbringing of Children

Abstract

The present article aims to identify the influence of cultural, economic and social changes, typical of the globalization era, in the family structure and dynamics in relation to upbringing patterns. The results highlight the family dynamic that is formed in the social institution and its function in the children’s primary socialization process as well as in the stabilization of their (adult) personalities, which is undoubtedly related to the issue of education. Likewise, these relations include practices of family and friendship solidarity through social networks, which have “gained ground” in the care and education of children due to the absence of their parents or tutors.
