The Place of Families in District Public Policies

Abstract

This paper presents a reflection on the contents reviewed along the investigation entitled Individual and family social work. Trends, prospects and developments, aimed at identifying the current individual and family issues faced by social work professionals, based on the review of twelve public policies and consultation with professionals working in this field. The research methodology is presented first, and then the results of the consideration of the role of families in public policies and the context demands are discussed, and, finally, the conclusions of the study are presented.
