Abstract
This paper analyzes two aspects related to educational services: supply conditions and related and supporting factors. The first presents an analysis of the educational services being offered in each region, which, when compared to the demand from states and companies, reveal some deviations from the supply of programs regarding the needs expressed by those who demand them, particularly in developing countries, at the same time clarifying the need for developed countries to insist on boosting science and engineering programs. The second one analyzes related factors and supporting factors, and special emphasis is made on the study of necessary infrastructure to internationalize higher education in South American countries. The result is interesting: a number of related sectors that will require a significant investment in terms of upgrading and expansion are shown, aimed at welcoming the students entering the programs. Finally, a few relevant suggestions are made about relevant aspects to those who wish to consider the objective of internationalizing higher education.
