Abstract
<p>The article highlights five significant aspects of the state of the art of a number of thesis works on solidarity economy at the Faculty of Management and Accounting Sciences from La Salle University, between 1979 and 2011. The research showed some important results of a larger project conducted at the Faculty of Management and Accounting Sciences between 2009 and 2012, with the purpose of creating the state of the art of solidarity economy at La Salle University. The research results correspond to the thesis works described in the introduction. Methodologically, on a first instance, research studies on solidarity economy from each program at the Faculty are quantified and qualified. Afterwards, the theses developed by solidarity economy organisms are presented. Subsequently, other associative forms studied are analyzed. Business issues and the solution area are shown as well. An interpretation of the spatial location of the solidarity economy enterprises is carried out and, finally, research studies in the cooperative sector are presented.</p>
