Industrial Ecology and Sustainable Human Development. Social, Environmental and Economic Dynamics

Abstract

Sustainability has not been possible because a socio-technological development model that promotes the disruption of natural ecosystems has been implemented, causing an increase in the entropy of the natural ecosystem. Industrial ecology aims to assimilate natural systems in their production processes, transforming linear production systems into cyclic production systems, seeking sustainable development. Consequently, the work is implemented in Locality 16 of Bogotá (Puente Aranda) the “matrix of socio-ecological interactions”, to identify interactions-stress, and critical-indifferent, active-passive issues present, to facilitate the construction of a number of indicators that order the priorities and decision making; likewise, it identifies actors, responsibilities and opportunities of sustainable development
