Environmental Economics in Colombian Prehistory

Abstract

Based on theories related to the settlement of the Americas, this paper reviews the most important economic and environmental events of each prehistoric stage in Colombia, starting on the year 50,000 B.C., up to the discovery. On the other hand, some iconic models typical of economics that make it possible to interpret the anthropogenic behaviors of the time and their evolution are included, all of this with the purpose of promoting a wider knowledge of the national, environmental economy
