Abstract

To develop the research project at hand the research group of family businesses found initially the suitability to explore and validate the relevance the processes of generational change planning in family firms as a factor of peculiar relevance to the stability in corporate governance and sustainability of these organizations. Also it is important to mention that examination of these processes of generation change is a fundamental step for researches related to the impact of the protocols family in the corporate governance of family businesses profile since these early findings on generational replacement provide evidence about trends on management of family firms whose organizations are often characterized by high informality levels into their management and governance processes.
