Abstract
This paper answers the question: How could power relations in exchange networks be determined by resource nature and actors’ positions in a network? First of all, the power- dependence relation is explained; at the same time different power ways are established according to several positions assumed by actors in a network. Secondly, a relation between resource nature and different power kinds is scrutinized. Indeed, we concluded both organization positions levels in exchange networks and their compromised-and-owned resource nature, are determining different power ways jointly with different ways to use it. In the same direction, as classification factors of exchange networks those elements help by establishing particular connection types among diverse actors. Thus it is possible to verify that power use in the exchange networks is dynamic, and those networks are featuring power balance mechanisms.
