Abstract

This paper aims to give a clear explanation of two concepts that are often confused by both interested people and experts in organizational issues, these concepts are the organizational structure and organizational design. The organizational structure refers to three basic elements: differentiation, integration and standardization. The organizational structure is also part of the complex concept of organizational design.
