Abstract
This article presents the design of a device that makes a digital process of electrocardiograph signal, from the evaluation module DSP56F807 of Motorola. First, it was necessary to acquire 3 cardiac derivations or signals with the help of a 5 channel EGC wire, 4 of which are plugged to a patient by electrodes located in the right arm, the left arm, left leg and right leg. Later the signals are sent to an acquisition data analog card, where it does the preparation of those by filtration and amplification. Then, the signals are sent to a card which adds a DC component in order to make the records be inside the rank from 0 to 3.3VWith the help of the codewarrior software, the setting of the converter records is made, the implementation of a FIR digital low pass filter and the serial communication of the evaluating module with the PC. With MATLAB the FIR low pass filter was designed and the reception and data packing were programmed, as well as a user interface that allows visualization and analysis of the 3 derivations with the help of a diagnostic support tool
