Polystyrene and rubber as modifiers of drain mixtures
Épsilon

Abstract

This article presents the results from the research on the improvement of a drain asphalt mixture from polystyrene and rubber that optimises the behaviour of the surface layer and, at the same time, preserves environment, using non-biodegradable waste. This drain mixture design with polymer addition is intended to correct as many mistakes as possible and offer good resistance to traffic loads by using aggregates, high-quality asphalt, a special granular balance, and an optimal measuring in the laboratory
