Foundations for the development of systems of transport with electrical traction as a sustainable alternative for Bogota, Colombia

Abstract

The local problems related to bad air quality in the main cities of the world, along with the global warming problems and the deterioration of the ozone layer, are facts that motivate leaders of the developed countries, the industry and research centers to propose, develop and implement alternative strategies in the practices that are commonly carried out in an area clearly identified as not sustainable, in the current context of development: The transport sector. This article refers to the city of Bogotá, and also it describes the current problems of air quality, generated by the transport sector and it proposes a possible solution to the problem related to the atmospheric pollution
