From the earth to the moon - contribution of colombian scientists to the achievement – 40 years after

Abstract

In order to remember the trip to the Moon, this paper summarizes some Colombian scientists contribution to the Mission success. That was done by mean of Ionosphere Studies in Bogotá city, at the Instituto Geofísico de los Andes Colombianos; by means calibration of lunar seismographs and in third place studying the terrestrial magnetism, the last two activities were developed at the Geophysical Observatory in Weston College-Boston
