Abstract
The Toyota Production System (TPS) has been widely spread, due to its relative success in some contexts. Companies from a wide range, such as food, metalworking and industrial companies, have tried to implement the TPS; however, in reviewing the literature on the subject, the conditions for a sustained and consistent result during use are not identified. This article aims to present the relationship of different elements, such as poka yoke and justo a tiempo, with the TPS, and for that purpose we start from the idea of the perfect market as a necessary condition of the model.
