Information System for Inventory Management Based on Data Mining Techniques

Abstract

There are currently different information systems that can predict behavior from large sets of data and which allow decision-making in companies; however, these tools are difficult to acquire due to their complexity and robustness, as well as high costs or legal restrictions. Information management in companies becomes a priority activity, because good management in data handling improves processes. Accordingly, this paper shows the development of a software based on data mining techniques, thus enabling the collection and storage of information in order to analyze hidden behavior patterns in a company’s inventory department
