Abstract
This article assesses the scientific quality of degree theses with scores of 3 and 4 points at the University of Information Sciences (Cuba). For this reason, a sample was selected from Faculty 1, to make decisions on how to improve the quality of education for students and the prestige of scientific research developed at the Faculty. In addition, a series of measures are proposed that can help improve the scientific quality of degree theses. The indicators used and recommended can be applied by any university for similar studies.
