Abstract
In recent years we have heard more frequently and increasingly higher “FRBR”, this allows formulating questions such as: Do you know the importance of implementing the FRBR when cataloging? How will those changes reflect in automated catalogs? The application of the methodology actually ensures the satisfaction of the needs of users? Are the catalogers able to apply FRBR? Are the catalogers familiar with the terminology of FRBR? Among these many concerns that try to generate debates on this issue, the objective is that catalogers propose applications to the new changes, new policies for the use cataloging of bibliographic records and more interaction between users and catalogers. In making a proposal for the development of bibliographic records from FRBR, the stage begins to familiarize the catalogers on how to capture information in the records and prepare for changes that will be generated by implementing the new rules FRBR-based cataloging
