Abstract
The breeding place’s reproductive efficiency depends on the fertility of the stallions. Usually the female is attributed the responsibility for low reproductive efficiency results. However, sometimes the male is not evaluated after low conception rates. More value should be given to the variables related to the stallion, as they may help increase the fertility rates of the breeding place, where sperm quality is particularly important. Currently, in addition to the classic analysis, more thorough tests are used, such as the identification of local growth factors (IGF-I) in the blood flow due to cholesterol: phospholipids, the sperm plasma membrane’s integrity and the receiving molecules of the oocyte’s pellucid zone. The purpose of this paper is to achieve a stronger predictive power of the stallion’s fertility
