Abstract
In this study there was realized a program of good practices of milking for medium producers (100 cows in constant milking) in the Sheet of Bogota. Selecting estates as representative models, in which visits of characterization were realized where they were observed to observe the routines of milking for and to evaluate the hygienic quality of the produced milk. One worked with seven estates, identifying the weak points of the processes of each one of these, with which a manual was elaborated where in the one that shows himself of simple and detailed form how it is possible to obtain a milk of good quality. Having the principal problematic ones defined in the estates, constant trainings were realized, insisting on the manual “To obtain a milk of good quality”. A strategic follow-up was done where in which the impact of the program was evaluated by means of the results facilitated by the plants pasteurizadoras (somatic cells and UFC). There was in use analysis of variance and descriptive statistics, observing that the trainings in estate have a positive impact on having seen results with significant decreases of somatic cells and UFC, which are reflected in improvements in the hygienic quality of the milk and better prices of sale. The obtained results indicate that the adoption of correct practices in the milking affects in the production of milk with hygienic quality that, in turn, has a direct relation with the payment on the part of the pasteurizadoras, which are ruled by established and standard procedure of quality
