Methodologies, methods and methodologic proposals in social work

Abstract

This article presents the findings of the documentary research of 68 books on Methodologies and Methods in Social Work, within the framework made of the line of construction to discipline, by a team of 4 people, between 2002 and 2003 from the experience of the work of degree in the Faculty of Social Work of the University of the Salle. The bibliographical revision on Methodologies and Methods, became in published, registered books in the libraries of academic units of programs of Social Work in Bogota, used by professionals for the problematic attention and resolution of social in answer to the exigencies that demand the diverse contexts. One looked for to know the conceptual developments on Methodology and Method, as well as to document the dimensions epistemologic, ideological, ethical, contextual and operative of methodologic proposals of Social Work in its historical periods, from the gathered together bibliographical production. Of this form the reader found the design methodologic of this experience; the important findings as far as methodology and method in Social Work, as well as the advance in the approaches to the conceptual construction-deconstrucción that entails to extend the glance in the dimensions to include/understand the methodologic proposals in Social Work.
