Social Work, Globalization and the Society of Knowledge

Abstract

Reflection is part of the approach to the issue regarding academic and research experience developed with students from the social work program, in the face of the possibilities of understanding the world in the mathematics of chaos, and the use of ICT in social work. The contribution focuses on the new circumstances that permeate that which is close and daily in the society of knowledge, and the perverse alliances of a globalized world in the discourse of professional action. In this sense, it suggests rereading the understandings of society, globalization and new dynamics of how to transcend the discourse of classroom, crisis and appropriation of technological progress devices, space-time relationship, operation and efficiency in the integration and reading of the context in which current relationships move.
