Abstract

The article aims to analyze deeper professional intervention, taking into account the current characteristics of social issues and social policies. Likewise, its relational perspective enriches the idea of “problem area,” initially proposed to account for the dynamics of professional practice in its necessary connection to social context. On the other hand, it rewrites the relationship between social policy and intervention in a discursive construction that attempts to renew the instrumental relationship between the profession and social policies.
